He was predeceased by: his parent James Claude of Tazewell County, VA.; his sister Opal White; and also, Jack, Mick, Charles and Jesse Sayers.
He is survived by: his parent Eva Mae Blankenship Sayers of Tazewell County, VA.; his wife Sandra McGraw Sayers; his children, Lisa DeAngelo (Michael) of Pounding Mill, VA, Jeff Sayers of Cedar Bluff and Christopher Sayers of Cedar Bluff; his siblings, Phyllis Coleman (Harvey) of Richlands, Elizabeth Nadine Rasnake of Richlands, Oweda Coleman of Franklinton, NC, Fred Sayers of Doran and Joseph Sayers (Janice) of Lauderdale, MS; his grandchildren, Michael DeAngelo, Myles DeAngelo, Jeffrey Sayers, Lucas Sayers and Rachel Christian; and his great grandchildren, Allison Christian, Kristen Sayers and Maddie Goins Several. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews also survive along with a host of family and friends.
