She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard William and Velva Rae Hess Hicks. She is survived by: her husband Larry Turley; her son A. J. Turley (Jenna) of Springville, VA; her siblings, Anthony Hicks (Connie), LaWanda Kent of Independence, MO, Connie Voll of Florida and Venisha Buchanan (Steven) of Springville, VA; her grandchildren, Clinton Joseph Turley and Aliya Lynnae Turley; her close friend Breanne Brewster; and also Joselyn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome, however memorial donations may be made to the New Covenant Church of God, 468 Dial Rock Rd, North Tazewell, VA 24630.
