She was predeceased by: her husband Harry W. "Dink" Lewis of Tasley, VA; her fathers, Alfred Lee Satchell and John Sherwood; her son Robert Keith Lewis; her sister Nancy Justis; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Sherwood.
She is survived by: her siblings, Brenda Cherrix of Pocomoke, MD and Robert "Bobby" Sherwood of Greenbush, VA; her nieces and nephews, Ann Pruitt, Karen Darden, Bobbie Jo Whitaker, Pam Killmon, Tracy Cunha, Ryan Cherrix, Ashley Adams, Susie Smith and Peggy Holloway; and her close friend Carol Hammer.
