He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Evans and Elsie Evans; and his brother Tyler Evans. He is survived by: his children, Tyler G. Evans (Cristal) and Stephanie Mills (Chuck); his grandchild Kenley Mills (Nicholas) of Ray; and his siblings, Carole Croxton (Bill), Robert G. "Buddy" Evans and Thomas R. Evans (Beverly).
