It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Arlene Dishman of Tappahannock, Virginia, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin G. Dishman; her parents, Segar Franklin and Hortense Franklin; and her siblings, Robert E. Franklin and Mildred F. Rebick.
She is survived by: her children, Franklin Gregg Dishman, Jr. (Laurie), Susan D. Boyd (John) and Mary Elizabeth Dishman; her grandchildren, Michele B. Witherow (Johnny), Michael Boyd, Savannah Dishman and Jacob Dishman; her great grandchildren, Chase, Lacy and Jonathan, Jr.; and her sisters, Evelyn Gayle and Josephine King. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Welch Funeral Home- Marks Chapel (10300 Richmond Rd, Warsaw, VA 22572).
