She was predeceased by: her husband Ozy Jefferson "O. J.". She is survived by: her siblings, Frances Goode of Gloucester and William Garland Milby, Jr. of King; her children, Jerome Milby "Mel" Lowery (Carol) of Gloucester and Peggy A. Downey (Bill) of Stafford; her sister Betty Noble; and her granddaughters, Megan Downey of Manassas and Karen Downey of Stafford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beale Memorial Baptist Church.
