It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Swinson (Tappahannock, Virginia), born in Milan, Georgia, who passed away on February 16, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Merrell S. Rogers of Kathleen, GA.; and his parents, Henry Monroe and Florence A. Swinson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Smith Swinson; his children, Linda S. Wiley (Tim) of Williamsville, MO. and Joe E Swinson, Jr. (Isobel) of Champlain, VA.; his grandchildren, Jesse Swinson (Vanessa), Lindsay Grosse (Matthew), Benjamin Swinson (Bryna), Karisa Brown (Ben) and Garrett Wiley; his great grandchildren, Madison Swinson, Gabi Swinson, Bishop Swinson, Beckett Swinson, Owen Grosse, Chaise, Makaya and Samual Brown; and his brother Hardy S. Swinson (Anne) of Fort Worth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, Building and Grounds Fund, P.O. Box 40, Champlain, VA 22438.
