She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Clark and Vernell Clark; and her brother Lloyd Clark. She is survived by: her husband J. Carroll Brown, Jr.; her daughters, Christy Brown of Mechanicsville and Ashley Griffin (Rick) of Tappahannock; her grandchildren, Avery Griffin, Berkley Hammond and Harper Griffin; and her brother Boyd W. Clark of Champlain.
