It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Hutchinson Rhines (Tappahannock, Virginia), who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Henley Hutchinson and John Dabney Hutchinson; her husband Stanley Warren Rhines; and her siblings, Betty Gwathmey, Mary Parrish and Jack Hutchinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Dabney Elder (Steve) of Walkerton, Frances Hudgins (Tim) of Mathews and Virginia Rhines of Richmond; her grandchildren, Sarah Elder, John Elder (Gina), Mary Elder, Anna Hudgins (Brian) and Edwin Hudgins; and her friend Betty "Mac" Geddes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
