He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Simpson; his children, Carrie L. Simpson "Ladybug" of Locust Grove and Stuart Simpson (Mary Lou) of Fredericksburg; his grandsons, Michael Simpson (Courtney) and A. J. Simpson (Ashlan); his great grandchildren, David of Dale City and Bailey Simpson of Dale City; and his sisters, Judy Collins of Columbia, MD and Jerry Glass.
