It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana Dickinson (Tappahannock, Virginia), born in Washington, Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Evelyn Preble Walter and William Francis Walter, Jr.; her grandparent Edward Alexander Preble; her husband Fielding Lewis Dickinson, Jr.; her children, Gerard Alexander Dickinson, Fielding Lewis Dickinson, III of Loretto, Virginia Mountcastle and Lisa Dickinson Mountcastle (Kenneth) of Alexandria; her grandchildren, Jerry Dickinson (Sally), Cameron Dickinson, Rebecca Hundley (Chris), Fielding Dickinson, IV (Kate), Holt Mountcastle and Kemble Mountcastle; and her brother Edward P. Von Walter (Johanna) of Loretto. She was also cherished by her children and grandchildren.
