She is survived by: her sons, Philip McElroy of Daejeon and David McElroy of Mathews; her granddaughter Natalie McElroy of Norfolk, Virginia; and her sisters, Helen Gilkison Majuro of Lisbon and Sally Gilkison of Howick.
