He is survived by: his fiancée Mary Supko; his daughters, Cera Collett (Houston) of Chesapeake, Lynn Tomcany of Virginia Beach and Summer Maschinot (Mark) of Chesapeake; his siblings, Debbie Emery (Pat) and Gary Sumner (Marie); his grandchildren, Logan Petty, Lincoln Collett and Avery Collett; his nephew Christopher Sumner; and his nieces, Nancy Martin (Jared) and Beth Morris.
