She was predeceased by: her parents, Roby Edwards and Lillian H. Edwards; and her siblings, Lucille Hicks, Ruby Lawson, Roby L. Edwards, Jr. and Alleen Redd.

She is survived by: her husband Wiley L. Neal; her daughters, Leola Neal Griffin (Greg) of Saltville, VA and Jeana Neal Borman (John) of Denver, NC; her granddaughters, Erin Griffin, Lauren Griffin and Celeste Borman; and her friend Hazel Turner.
