William Franklin Dize Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Franklin Dize (Tangier, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Colson Dize and Ila Wells Dize; and his siblings, Fuller Dise, Preston Dize, Pearl Morgan and Marie Pruitt.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Ann Dize (Williams); his children, William Franklin Dize, Jr. (Michele) and Debra June Bradshaw (Charles); his sister-in-law Ruby Dise; his grandchildren, Betty-Anne Bradshaw, Mariah, Lauren, Lindsay, Whitney and Geri-Lyn Dize; and his great grandchild Mason Dize. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Swain Memorial United Methodist Church (16152 Main St, Tangier, VA 23440).
