He is survived by: his parents, Monnie Dize and Colson Dize; his uncle Castella; his spouse Norma Ray Dize; his daughters, Virginia Dize of Washington, DC, Sue Potter (Donnie) of Kinston and Mary Stuart Parks (Andy) of Tangier; his grandchildren, Michael Scott Potter (Courtney), Christopher Parks (Ashley), Michael Parks (Jenny), Jonathan Potter, Sara Potter and Georgianna Parks; and his great grandchildren, Collin, Dennilynn, Brady, Lola, Ethan and Gage.
Donations in his memory may be made to Swain Memorial United Methodist Church.
