Nellie Pruitt Jones Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2021, at the age of 73, Nellie Pruitt Jones (Tangier, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Harold Gordon Pruitt and Tommy Jones. She is survived by: her parents, Alva Wesley Crockett and Marian "Macie" Crockett; her brothers, Earl Hickle and Johnnie Hickle; her children, Harold Gordon Pruitt, Jr., Chris Landon (Darren) of Check, VA, Mike Pruitt of Tangier and Tom Jones (Sarah) of Crisfield; her brother David Crockett (Donna); her sisters-in-law, Betty Hickle and Jeanette Hatcher; her daughters-in-law, Dorothea Pruitt and Elizabeth Pruitt; her grandchildren, Justin Landon, Rochelle Crockett (Bill), Taylor, Trent, Paige, Tyler, Zachary Pruitt, Leigh Shores, Jess, Hannah, Ella and Jack Jones; and her great grandchildren, Isabella Landon, AJ and Parker Shores. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many cousins; and countless friends.
