Joyce Shores Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2023, at the age of 96, Joyce Shores of Tangier, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Shores; her parents, Roland Parks and Estelle Parks; her children, Betty Anne Bradshaw (Charles) and Robert R. Shores; her son-in-law Timothy Marshall; her grandson Lance Hunter; her siblings, Ralph "Skip" Parks, Owen Parks, Bill Parks, Betty J. Pruitt, Annette Diehl and Bache Parks; and her nieces and nephews, Rose, Hugh, Jeff and Terry Parks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lana Marshall of Tangier, Rosetta Crockett of Tangier, Nancy Crockett (Jeff) of Tangier, Roberta Hunter and Lula Belle Shores of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Bev Parks, BJ Palmer-Steed, Charles Bradshaw, Marian Crockett, Cathy Parks, Lana Hunter, Danielle Crockett, Christopher Shores and Bobby Shores; her great grandchildren, Lindsay Photakos, Timothy Palmer, Drew Parks, Forest Steed, Lance Parks, Schyler Parks, Lance Cano, Betty Anne Bradshaw, Layah Cano, Isabella Cabrera, Gavin Parks, Grayson Shores and Isaac Shores; her great great grandchildren, Mason, Camden Photakos, Kyleigh Jo and Sawyer Palmer; her siblings-in-law, Fern Parks, Helen Parks and Mitchell Shores; her nieces and nephews, Skippy, Junior Parks, Genie, Lee, Gil Pruitt, Renee Smith, Dana O'Bier, Bache, Steve, Mickey Parks and Annette Charnock; and her caregivers, Brenda Laird and Mary Beth Durrett.
