He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton W. Pruitt and Grace Thelma Pruitt; and his brothers, Elwood Pruitt, Bill Pruitt, Fred Pruitt and Gary Pruitt.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Ruth Pruitt of Tangier; his son Gary Wayne Pruitt of Tangier; his siblings, Richard Pruitt of Tangier, Johnny Pruitt of Princess Anne and Rose Sharpless of Painter, VA; his nephew Nathan; and also Andy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
