"Doc" Nettles and Louise Robertson Nettles of Wakefield, Virginia.; his wife Donna Mahoney Nettles; his grandson Gregory Gerard Rogan; his siblings, Edwin Carter Nettles, Jr. of Wakefield, VA and Dr. Elizabeth Jane Nettles of St. Louis, MO; and his nieces and nephews, Bryar Chappell Nettles and Edwin Carter Nettles, III of Wakefield, VA..
He is survived by: his daughter Louise "Robyn" Robertson Nettles Christopher of Crozet, VA; his grandson Benjamin Leland Christopher of New York City; and his niece Kathryn Carter Nettles (Liam) of Nashville, TN.
