She is survived by: her son David Perkins (Ellen Hess) of Swords Creek, Virginia; her siblings, Mae Richardson of Honaker, Virginia and Carter Lockhart (Lita) of Swords Creek, Virginia; her sisters-in-law, Lois Lockhart and Margaret Peck; her grandson Brandon Hale; her niece Connie Robinson (Robbie); and her caregiver Gail Breeding.
