He was predeceased by: his parents, Jency Dye and Clara Stevenson Dye; his wife Patricia Ann Carver Dye; his grandson Bobby-Alan Kendal Hale; and his siblings, Jimmy Dye, Charlie Dye, Dorothy Fields, Helen Hill, Johnnie Mae Dales and Lojean Hawkins.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Ann Matney (David); his grandsons, Christopher Shannan Bennett (Jess) and Jason Lee Hale; his great grandchildren, Raiden Kendal Bennett and Adrian Isaac Sines; and his sisters, Betty Colley, Ginger Smith (Ralph) and Mary Lou Dye. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, mandated by the governor, a mask is required for those in attendance.
