She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Johnson and Hazel Childress Johnson; her son Jeffrey Dean Ray; and her siblings, Ernie Johnson, Earl Johnson, Raymond Johnson, Danny Johnson, Eddie Johnson, Ann Smith and Doris Wallace.
She is survived by: her spouse D. E. "Dude" Ray; her children, Terry Ray (Bobbie) of Richlands, Michael Ray (Treca) of Swords Creek and Jerry Ray of Honaker; and her siblings, Roger Johnson of Tazewell, Sue Shortridge of Tazewell and Jeannette Coxton of Tazewell. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one step-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
