We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2023, at the age of 99, Geneva Deskins of Swords Creek, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Belcher and Hettie Owens Belcher; her husband John Walter Deskins; her son Al Deskins; and her sisters, Juanita Brown and Pauline Belcher.
She is survived by: her son Wayne Deskins (Nancy) of Raven; her daughter-in-law Janice Deskins of Swords Creek; her grandchildren, Steven Deskins, Stephanie Daniels (Joe) and John Allen Deskins; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Wiggins, Fallyn Daniels, Waylon Daniels, May Deskins and Henry Deskins; her sister Allene Mullins of Sugar Land, Texas; and her close friends, Doris Childress and Connie Vance. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
