He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Whitt; his children, Christy Whitt Absher (Jimmy) of Bristol, TN and Mark D. Whitt of Swords Creek, VA; and his stepsons, Michael Goodie (Becky) of Cedar Bluff, VA, Gary Goodie (Beth) of Belfast, VA and Steven Goodie (Armanda). He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one step great-grandchild.
