He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Dye and Carrie Hess Dye; his siblings, Stanley Dye, Donald Dye, Luther Dye, Claude Dye, Ollie Dye, Roxie Dye, Judy Dye, Eunice Cordill and Delcie Dye; his parents-in-law, Floyd and Jennie Sparks; and his siblings-in-law, Herman Dye, Claude Cordill, Russell Corns, Willard Sparks, George Sparks, Carl Steele, Shirley Sparks, Lovelene Sparks, Reka Dye and Betty Dye.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Sparks Dye; his children, Jennifer McGlothlin (Wesley) and Rex Dye (Amy); his grandchildren, Devin Dye (Taylor), DeAnna Dye and Dakota Dye; his pet Kasey; his siblings, Ronnie Dye (Sharon), Danny Dye (Ellen), Cecil Dye (Margaret), Wanda Richardson (Fred), Doris Corns and Connie Richardson (Daniel); and his sisters-in-law, Ruthie Steele, Ruby Elkins (Carlos) and Doris Dye. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Due to the recent surge of COVID in our area, the family has requested that a mask be worn by everyone in attendance.
