He was predeceased by: his parents, Hallie Earl and Minnie Ellen Miller Hubbard; and his siblings, Jerry Hubbard, Ferrell Hubbard, Tivis Hubbard, Yulis Hubbard, Vertella Clark, Madean Hess and Marie Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Verdie; his daughters, Deborah Perkins (Terry) of Swords Creek and Wanda Mitchell (Dean) of Cedar Bluff, Virginia; his grandchildren, Brian Whited (Cyndi) of Rosedale, Pam Whited (Scotty Fields) of Lebanon, Timothy Ray (Kelisha) of Swords Creek, Claude Ray, III (Angela) of Swords Creek and Brandon Perkins; his great grandchildren, Peyton Whited, Preston Davidson, Abigail Davidson, Amber Davidson, Elijah Ray, Keegan Brown, Katie Ray, Cara Ray and Dakota Perkins; his great great grandchild Kason Ray; and his siblings, Kirby Hubbard of Swords Creek and Glenda "Sissy" Hubbard of Tazewell, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
