He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Lucy Street Dye; his former wife Nancy Sue Hess Dye; and his sisters, Mary Magdalene Lester (Virgil) and Rosie Hubbard.
He is survived by: his wife Ebbie Hess Dye; his children, Doug Dye (Teresa) and Tina Dye; his granddaughters, Tiffany Roberts (Kevin) and Brittany Dye; his stepchildren, Marlena Dye (Tommy), Linda Gibson (Ray), Danny Hess (Sandy), Ricky Hess (Connie) and C. A. Hess (Judy); his siblings, Tommy Dye (Marlena), Lee Dye (Linda), Cecil Dye (Sheila), Arbutus Dye (Perry), Helen Whited (Ellis) and Della Spencer (Farley); and his brother-in-law Danny Hubbard. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions mandated by the governor, a mask is required.
