She was predeceased by: her parents, Iles Boyd and Avis Pruitt Boyd of Horton Ridge, Virginia.; and her sister Annie Boyd of Huntersville, NC.. She is survived by: her husband Brent Compton; her daughter Jenna Compton of Myrtle Beach; her granddaughter Hayley of Myrtle Beach; her siblings, Patricia Hughes (Jiles), Trainey Walker (Ric), Terry Osborne (Cliff), Christine Reynolds (Chris) and Jerald Boyd (Tressia); her father-in-law Connell Compton (Shirley); and her sister-in-law Diana Renfro (Mike).
