It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Mildred (Hulvey) Hewitt (Swoope, Virginia), born in Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Virginia Fontaine Hulvey (Thompson); and her siblings, Robert D. Hulvey and Anna McCray (Hulvey). She is survived by: her children, Neal Hewitt (Ann), Dennis Hewitt (Donna), Jerry Hewitt (Kim) and Kathy Bush (Joe) of Swoope; her siblings, Gloria Collins (Hulvey) of Pennsylvania and James "Jimmy" Hulvey (Shirley) of Newport News; and also, Neal, Dennis, Jerry Hewitt, David Hewitt, Joe Bush, Clint Hewitt, Ryan Hewitt and Joel Wilson. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
