It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John B. Christian IV of Swoope, Virginia, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brownlee Christian III and Mary Boyd Christian (Jones); and his father-in-law Elwood Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sue Christian (Wagner); his children, Jonathan Scott Christian of John Brownlee, Christian V of Swoope and Katie Rosabelle Christian of Swoope; his brother Robert B. Christian (Dana) of Swoope; his cousins, Mary Dale Deacon of Spokane and Kenneth Welch (Janine) of Anchorage, Alaska; his mother-in-law Ida Sue Wagner of Staunton; and his brother-in-law Wayne C. Wagner of Staunton.
