She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Minor Sr. and Mary Edna Sheffer (Diehl); her husband John Carmen Coffey; her sister Charlotte; her brother-in-law Floyd Reid; her nephews, Jeffrey Sheffer and Stephen Reid; and her niece Debra Cline.
She is survived by: her son John Carmen Coffey, Jr. of Swoope; her brothers, Forrest Minor Sheffer Jr. of Staunton and Lawrence Franklin Sheffer (Donna) of Manikin-Sabot; her grandsons, Daniel Levi Coffey (Shalon) of Swoope, Adam Amos of Las Vegas and Aaron Amos of Roanoke; her great grandchild Izzie Leigh Coffey of Cumming Ga; her nephews, Christopher C. Sheffer of Swoope and John Lee Reid (Emese) of Staunton; her niece Lorie Sheffer of Staunton; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Derek Cline, Matthew Sheffer, Melissa Cline and Jessica Ralston.
