She is survived by: her parent Mariah Smith (Shelton); her husbands, Henry Smith and Savoy L. Carpenter, Sr.; her children, Henry V. Smith, Sr. (Brenda) of Pemberton, Larry W. Carpenter, Sr. (Joan) of Swoope, Roscoe A. Carpenter, Sr. (Josephine) of Swoope and Isabelle J. Brummer (Chauncey) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Michelle Jackson, John Jackson, Terri Gerald, Roger Smith, Larry A. Carpenter, Jr., Laselle Wilson (Carpenter), Roscoe Carpenter, Jr., Savoy Brummer, Chris Brummer and Savoy Carpenter, III; and her daughter-in-law Joan Carpenter (Loretta Stewart). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, church members and friends.
