She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Newton Burns, Sr. of Swoope; her mother Pauline Bertha Dull (Furr); her son Samuel Newton Burns, Jr.; and her brother Wallace Raymond Dull. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Donna Burns (Frank); her granddaughter Fera Morrison (Burns); her great grandchild Avery Nicole Morrison; her siblings-in-law, Lewis Burns (Erma) and Sandra Kay McDaniels; and her close friends, Mae Frank, Nancy Furrow, Tammy Arbogast and Debbie Hinkle. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
