He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Adam of Phoenix, AZ, Alex (Jakki) of Staunton and Amy; his stepson Kevin Kelly of Richmond; his siblings, Lawrence Avery (Linda) of Triangle Lake, Oregon and Carol Avery Koch of Sequim; and his grandchildren, Anna Kelly, Autumn, Meadow, Ethan and Noah Avery.
