He was predeceased by: his parents, James Campbell and Viola Campbell (Gilmer); and his brother Bill Campbell. He is survived by: his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Lisa Campbell of Austin, TX; and his sister-in-law Joan Campbell of Verona, VA. He is also survived by niece and two nephews.
