He was predeceased by: his parents, Tucker Haley and Alice Wilmouth Pruitt Bryant; his spouses, Joyce Copley Haley Clark, Louise Haire Haley and Jean Cooper Haley; his son Richard Michael Haley; his brother Marion Haley; and his close friend Gladys Moshler.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bobby" Melver Haley, Jr. (Lupita) and Robin Haley Sorrell (Robin); his sister-in-law Delma Haley; his aunt Eleanor Yancy of Oxford, NC; and his close friends, Vickie and Danny Scism. He is also survived by five grandsons; seven great-grandchildren.
