Oleta Spivey Gibson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oleta Spivey Gibson of Sutherlin, Virginia, born in Galax, Virginia, who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ohlen Chap Spivey and Sue Cox Spivey; and her son Ohlen C. Bedsaul. She is survived by: her husband Willard Gibson; her children, Ernest L. Bedsaul (Mary Ellen), Shirley B. Wagner and Pamela G. Alexander (Scott); her foster daughter Judy Barbour; and her sister Ada S. Tucker (Bobby Joe). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
