He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Smith and Isabelle Godsey Smith; his wife Joyce Ann Smith; his siblings, Robert "Bro" Smith, Moses, Samuel, Jeremiah, Jessie Tucker and Verlena Williams Tucker; and his nephew Freddie Williams.
He is survived by: his daughter Tara Bonner (Kenneth) of Sutherland, VA; his sister-in-law Mary Cox of Petersburg, VA.; his grandchildren, Kenneth Ronell Bonner II of Sutherland, VA, Klayton Nathaniel Bonner, Mousey (Sabrina) of Chesterfield, VA and Kourtney Chistine Bonner of Sutherland, VA.; his great grandchildren, Kairo Williams of Sutherland, VA and Kellyann Christine Bonner of Chesterfield, VA; his siblings, Mary Tucker of Petersburg, VA, Martha Queen Dabney of Petersburg, Edward "Bo" Smith (Eloise) and John Smith (Arlene); his stepbrother Joseph Tucker (Linda); his nephew Cory Smith of Petersburg, VA; and also Mary Ann. He is also survived by nieces and nephew, and friends.
