He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy West and Blanche West; and his brother Dr. Roy A West. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Gladys B. West; and his children, Dr. Carolyn Oglesby (Barry), David West (Colleen) and Michael West (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces/great-nieces and nephews/great-nephews.
