It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Woodrow W. Gilliam (Sussex, Virginia), who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Gilliam and Elsie Cargill Gilliam; his son Gregory Richardson; and his brother George Gilliam (Nat). He is survived by: his siblings, Jesse (Inez) of Waverly, VA, Montaque "Donnie" Gilliam of Waverly, VA, Larry Gilliam of Richmond, VA, Gladys Reed of Waverly, VA and Dorothy Gilliam of District Heights, MD; his nieces and nephews, Kim Boone, Aaron, Tyron, Shun, Adrian Gilliam, Taneca Taylor and Caitlyn Gilliam; and his friends, John, Ellen Boone and Larry Dillard. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
