He is survived by: his wife Ellen Gilliam Boone; his son Jonathan Scott, Sr.; his grandson Jonathan Scott, Jr.; his siblings, Melvin Boone, Wallace, Clinton Boone, Sr. of Petersburg, VA, Doris Deberry (David), Eartha Miles (Mike) of Richmond, VA, Karen L Boone of Stony Creek, VA, Phyllis Boone of Stony Creek, VA and Janet Boone of Stony Creek, VA; his aunts, Mother Catherine Green, Jennie Jones and Myrtle Moore; his siblings-in-law, Lewis Gilliam (Ruth) of Stony Creek, James Gilliam of Waverly, VA, Susie Clarke of Waverly, VA and Betty J. Spearman (Jerome) of Naperville, Illinois; and his cousins, Odessa Urquhart, Nancy Massenberg, Sylvia Burrow, Ilena Burrow and Lashanda Edwards. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
