With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jesse J. Gilliam of Sussex, Virginia, who passed away on April 27, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Gilliam and Elsie Gilliam; and his brothers, Woodrow and George Gilliam. He is survived by: his wife Inez T. Gilliam; his sons, Kim Boone, Jesse Aaron Gilliam (Tikisha), Tyron Gilliam (Yolanda) and Shun Gilliam; his grandchildren, Travon Boone, Christopher Bell, Kamron, Justin, Kailyn, Tyra, Ethan and Savion Gilliam; and his siblings, Montaque Gilliam, Larry Gilliam, Gladys Reed and Dorothy Gilliam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
