In loving memory of James Martin Wilson of Sussex, Virginia, who departed this world on January 21, 2025 at the age of 62. James Martin leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Earle and Mary Martin Wilson; and his brother-in-law Onnie Woodruff. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda W. Woodruff, David Wilson (Becky), Tommy Wilson (Belynda) and Loretta W. Hellyer (Jesse); his nephews, Ken Woodruff, Trent Wilson, Quinton and Martin Hellyer; and his niece Lisa Matthews. He is also survived by six great nieces, 2 great nephews, one great-great nephew, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Readville Baptist Church (20158 Princeton Rd, Stony Creek, VA 23882). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Sussex Courthouse Fire Department (P. O. Box 1363, Sussex, VA 23884) or Readville Baptist Church (11093 Dove Lane, Stony Creek, VA 23882).
