John Pruden III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Pruden III of Susan, Virginia, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Brooke Pruden Jr. and Margaret Wright Pruden; his wife Susan Gambill Pruden; his daughter Dana Miller (Tom); his grandchildren, Alexandra and Aidan; his daughter Beth Hayes (Brian); his grandson Sean; his sister Johanna Covel (Jerry); his brother-in-law Bill Kinard; and his friend Bill Grigg. He was also cherished by many other nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends, and caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Brooke's honor to The National MS Society or The Pastor's Discretionary Fund at Main Street United Methodist Church in Suffolk. Keep John "Brooke" Pruden III's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
