He was predeceased by: his brothers, Steve Terry, Bruce Terry and Duke Terry. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hamel Terry; his sons, Craig Douglas Terry (Chelsea) of Harpers Ferry, W. V and John David Terry of Abingdon; and his sister Jan Tennant (Reg) of Birmingham. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
