It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis McCollum (Susan, Virginia), born in Eden, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul James McCollum and Addie Foster McCollum; his siblings, Virginia Donahue, Jack Rorer, June Webb, Mary Louise Atwood, Nola Minter, Phillip McCollum and Kenny McCollum; and his nephews, Steve and Ricky Holland.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Overby McCollum; his children, Mike, Robert Holland and Lauren Wimmer of Greensboro; and his siblings, Roxie Bray of Reidsville and Tommy McCollum (Evelina) of Wilmington. He is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
