He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Edmonds and Louise Castle Edmonds; and his brothers, Bobby Edmonds of Richmond, VA and Roger Edmonds of Lebanon, VA.. He is survived by: his friends, Susan and Greg Thompson; his wife Susan Powers Edmonds; his sons, Mark Edmonds (Wendy) of Greenville, SC and Bobby Jessee (Melanie) of Bristol, VA; his sister Vickie Castle Lewis (Jay) of Lebanon, VA; his grandchildren, Michael Edmonds (Taylor) of Greenville, SC, McNeil Edmonds (Amy), Bryce Jessee of Bristol, VA, Elizabeth "Beth" Jessee of Blacksburg, VA and Madison Howard of Greenville, SC; his great grandchildren, Ellie and Bentley Howard of Greenville, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Edmonds and Donna Edmonds. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
