She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Doughton "Buck" Dodson and Mamie Mae White Dodson; her husband Edgar Lynn; and her siblings, Nannie Niemeic, Ronda Spicer, Avery Lee Dodson, Grady Dodson and Ervin Dodson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Dorothy Royall, Veronia Luffman, Sally Dodson and Sethia Dodson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
