He was predeceased by: his parent E. C. Belton. He is survived by: his parent Irene Roberts Belton; his wife Nancy Reece Belton; his daughter Lib Rabun; his son-in-law Ron Rabun; his son Richard Jr; his daughter-in-law Leshia Belton, Jr.; his grandchildren, Nathan Belton (Misty), Jacob Belton (Allie), Luke Rabun and Molly Rabun; his great grandchild Molly Belton; and his siblings, Carolyn and Bill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woltz Hospice Home or First Baptist Church of Mt. Airy.
